Today, Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev has received President of TeliaSonera Lars Nyberg. TeliaSonera group President appreciated dynamic development of IT sphere in our country. He thanked the Head of State for the created conditions to company Azercell for application of 3G and 4G technologies.
‘Information-communication technologies sector is one of the priority spheres in Azerbaijan. We are working in direction of provision of internet to all parts of the country through the up-to-date methods’, said Ilham Aliyev.
The meeting also focused on the importance of TeliaSonera’s support to Trans Eurasian Information Superhighway (TASIM) project, realized on the basis of special resolution adopted by the UN General Assembly.
