"Some of Iran’s actions could damage relations with Azerbaijan", vice-speaker of the Azerbaijani Parliament Bahar Muradova told the reporters.
She said that these actions are committed by some religious figures and circles of Iran. Muradova said that this attitude was even shown in the official level: "Azerbaijan’s attitude to the neighboring states and even to the states being at hostile position is based on the principles of international law and Azerbaijan is always observing the diplomatic norms. We will express our attitude and position in this form. Some of the Iranian circles, including official authorities should express their opinion in accordance with the level of bilateral relations with Azerbaijan, and to be careful in such matters, because relations are built during years and decades, but can be destroyed in a moment. The current situation of Iran obliges it to consider these issues in the relations with neighboring countries, in particular, with Azerbaijan, which is a friendly and brotherly country."
