A senior figure in the Azerbaijani Presidential
Administration has criticized the French Senate's passage of a bill
criminalizing genocide denial.
Ali Hasanov, head of the Public Policy Department at the Presidential Administration, told Turkish news agency Anadolu, that the bill was against freedom of thought and human rights.
The bill harms France's international image, Hasanov said, adding that it would not bring any benefit to France.
