There is a chance that the bill criminalizing the denial of the ‘Armenian genocide’ will not be adopted in the French parliament.
The statement came from the vice speaker of Milli Majlis Bahar Muradova.
She said before the bill was passed in the lower chamber of the French Senate, there were expectations that some will oppose this law as violating the freedom of speech: "Azerbaijani side has expressed its attitude to this on both official and public level. We do hope that the joint struggle of Azerbaijan and Turkey will produce effective".
