Baku on Thursday hosted an Azerbaijan-Bosnia and Herzegovina business forum as part of a visit of chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Bakir Izetbegovich.
The business forum, organized by AZPROMO, Azerbaijan Ministry of Economic Development and Bosnian Foreign Trade Chamber, was attended by 70 companies from the two countries operating in the fields of construction, communications technology, oil, gas and chemical production, environmental protection, construction of water systems, construction materials and concrete, steel, security and fire services.
AZPROMO head Rufat Mammadov noted that the business activity in Azerbaijan had expanded, adding there is favourable business and investment atmosphere in Azerbaijan.
Chairman of the Bosnian Foreign Trade Chamber Veselin Poljasevic highlighted the economic relations between the two countries. He stressed the importance of cooperation between the businessmen in developing the Azeri-Bosnian economic relations.
The forum was followed by bilateral meetings which saw the businessmen explore prospects for expanding their cooperation
