“The World Health Organization closely cooperates with Azerbaijan,” said WHO Director General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus during his video address to the participants at the opening ceremony of the Global Summit "Forecasting Healthy Futures" held in Baku, SİA reports.
He said that within the framework of COP29, crises caused by climate change in the health sector and solutions will be discussed.
“The climate crisis is actually also a healthcare crisis. The increase in the intensity of climate change does not go unnoticed on human health,” – he noted.
