An awareness training on “Ethical Behavior Culture and Stress Management” was held at the Central Customs Hospital
On June 21, 2025, an awareness training titled “Ethical Behavior Culture and Stress Management” was organized at the Central Customs Hospital within the framework of the “Code of Ethical Conduct for Officials of the Customs Authorities of the Republic of Azerbaijan”. The training aimed to promote ethical values and enhance psychological resilience. The event was attended by Deputy Head of the Medical Service Department of the State Customs Committee Shahlar Mirgasim, Head of the Central Customs Hospital – Chief Physician, Doctor of Medical Sciences Baxtiyar Musayev, department heads, and staff members. Delivering the opening speech, Deputy Head of the Medical Service Department Shahlar Mirgasim emphasized the importance of the event. He noted that the Code of Ethical Conduct is an essential document that outlines behavioral standards for every employee, serving as a fundamental guide for both theoretical knowledge and daily practical activities. Shahlar Mirgasim highlighted that adherence to the Code's principles contributes to the formation of a healthy working environment, mutual respect, and the promotion of professionalism within the team. He underlined that the training plays a vital role in enhancing employees’ knowledge of professional ethics and facilitating the practical application of these values in the workplace. Following this, the Head of the Central Customs Hospital – Chief Physician, Doctor of Medical Sciences Baxtiyar Musayev, stated that compliance with ethical behavior standards is especially important for all healthcare professionals. He emphasized that transparency, respect, professionalism, and reliability in communication with patients are key factors shaping the reputation of a medical institution. Dr. Baxtiyar Musayev particularly noted that such regular trainings are crucial steps toward improving the professionalism of staff and the quality of medical services provided.As part of the training, the Head of the Legal Department of the Medical Service Department of the State Customs Committee, Rana Huseynova, delivered a presentation on “Explanation of the Code of Ethical Conduct for Officials of the Customs Authorities of the Republic of Azerbaijan.” Additionally, psychiatrist of the Medical Commission of the Medical Service Department, PhD in Medical Sciences, Associate Professor Gulay Mammadzade, delivered a presentation titled “People Working with People: What Can We Do to Cope with Stress?”
At the end of the event, participants exchanged views on ethical behavior principles and effective stress management, and relevant questions were answered. The training was met with great interest by the attendees.
