USA Senate affirmed the candidature of former American co-chair of OSCE Minsk group, assistant of deputy of USA State Secretary on Europe and Eurasia Mathew Brayza to the post of ambassador in Azerbaijan. As SIA reports, before the voting senator of California Barbara Bokser made a special statement. In her speech Bokser expressed her anxiety about the closeness of Mathew Brayza with Azerbaijan and Turkey and said that Mathew Brayza isn’t real candidate to this post. Then senator of New-Jersey Robert Menendez made such statement. But chairman of committee of foreign affairs supported Mathew Brayza.
