Chairman of the Central Election Commission (CEC) of Azerbaijan Mazahir Panahov met with Malaysian CEC delegation that arrived in Azerbaijan to monitor the parliamentary elections to be held on November 1, SIA reports.
Mazahir Panahov expressed his satisfaction with the meeting and relations of Azerbaijan`s Central Election Commission and its cooperation with the Central Election Commission of Malaysia within the various international organizations.
Malaysian observers were informed about large-scaled projects realized for the conduction of free, fair and transparent parliamentary elections.
The prospects of future cooperation between the commissions of two countries were also discussed during the meeting.
