Azerbaijan’s Foreign Ministry’s spokesman Hikmat Hajiyev commented on excluding of Georgian writer David Turashvili’s name from from the list of "persona non grata", SIA informs.
According to Hajiyev, Georgian writer David Turashvili’s name was included in the list of "persona non grata" for his illegal visit to occupied Azerbaijani territories.
"David Turashvili has appealed to Foreign Ministry of Azerbaijan with the relevant request and noted that this visit was a mishap and unibiased. His visit was not aimed at demonstrating disregard for the territorial integrity, sovereignty and laws of Republic of Azerbaijan, as well requesting to remove his name from the list of "persona non grata", added Mr Hajiyev.
"Georgian writer David Turashvili’s name from from the list of "persona non grata" has been excluded from the list of "persona non grata" of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry " told Hikmat Hajiyev.
