Presidential Elections in Azerbaijan were conducted on the basis of the requirements of the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the observation mission of the Ukraine`s Verkhovna Rada said at the press conference.
The observers visited 10 polling stations of 5 constituencies both in Baku and outside the Azerbaijan`s capital. The Ukrainian parliamentarians noted that the electoral process was conducted in a working and constructive manner. The Ukrainian observers positively assessed participation of various political parties and 1300 observers from over 100 countries. The observation mission of the Ukrainian parliament stated that it did not record any significant irregularities, which clearly shows that elections were conducted in a democratic manner.
