President of Serbia Tomislav Nikolić has signed a decree on awarding presidents of the post-Soviet countries with "Order of the Republic of Serbia, SIA reports.
Russian President Vladimir Putin has been awarded with the first grade "Order of the Republic of Serbia" and Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev with the second grade "Order of the Republic of Serbia" for their contributions to strengthening and improving peace and friendship of Serbia with CIS and Georgia. Presidents of Armenia, Georgia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Ukraine have also been awarded.
