The French Ministry of Foreign Affairs made a statement expressing concerns about the pardon of Ramil Safarov by the President of Azerbaijan. APA reports quoting Panorama.am that the statement says: "As the other OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs, France also considers that the decision of Baku is risky and can damage the negotiation process on the settlement of the conflict, as well as confidence-building between the sides."
