Youth and Sports Minister Azad Rahimov has given an interview to the international ‘inside the games’ portal.
According to sources for the ministry, the minister spoke of Baku’s bid for hosting 2020 Olympic and Paralympic games.
"2016 was a good experience for us. This time we are more prepared to this. Our 2020 concept is more accurate", he said.
According to him, he received positive assessment from the International Olympic Committee and International Federation.
"I remember that in 2016 they wrote ‘Baku’s bid not serious’. However, this time the attitude is different. Now the world views us from a different angle", the minister said.
