Azerbaijani, Turkish, Iranian foreign ministers arrive in Nakhchivan
The foreign ministers of Azerbaijan, Turkey and Iran have arrived in the Azerbaijani exclave of Nakhchivan for talks.

Elmar Mammadyarov, Ahmet Davutoglu and Ali Akbar Salehi first met the chairman of the Supreme Assembly of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, Vasif Talibov. The meeting was closed to the media.

The ministers then had one-on-one meetings.

The Foreign Ministers are now meeting with chairman of the Supreme Majlis of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Vasif Talibov.

A trilateral meeting of the ministers and their delegations will be held today and will be followed by a press conference.

This is the third meeting in this format following meetings in Urmia, Iran, in April 2011 and in Istanbul in January the same year.

In Urmia the ministers signed a declaration which contains provisions on economic development, the expansion of ties in tourism, science and culture, interaction in regional and international organizations, resolution of conflicts within the framework of the territorial integrity of states and the inviolability of borders, and the principles for the establishment of trilateral cooperation in other spheres.
