The decision of the French Senate on criminalizing the
denial of so-called ‘Armenian genocide’ showed that Europe doesn’t have
a mechanism of legislative protection of human rights.
Chairman of the Azerbaijani Parliament’s Commission on Legal Policy and
State Building Ali Huseynli told the statement on Tuesday.
"If such mechanism existed, this unfair decision would have been
suppressed at the legislative level," the official told the event on the
implementation of the State Program on strengthening the protection of
human rights and freedoms.
