Pardoning 92 prisoners indicates humanism, stability and civil unity of our state and society.
The statement came from Ombudswoman of Azerbaijan Elmira Suleymanova
during her speech at an event dedicated to pardoning ceremony of
prisoners jailed in prison No16.
'This is the 50th pardon in number. Besides, nine amnesty was realized
which resulted many persons to return to families. I view this pardon as
a confidence of the president. From now on, pardoned persons have no
moral right to recommit crimes', the ombudswoman said.
