The main obstacle to resolve the Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict is the lack of confidence between the parties, EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus, Philippe Lefort said at a press conference in Baku.
The EU, which attaches great importance to the resolution of existing conflicts in the region, will further support OSCE efforts in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict resolution, he said.
Lefort called contribution to the resolution of this conflict and boosting relations between Azerbaijan and the EU as his main mission.
