Re-elections, additional
and new elections for some municipalities were considered at the meeting. Chairman
of the Central Election Commission Mazahir Panahov said elections were held for
1718 municipalities in Azerbaijan
'1709 municipalities were formed. The results of elections for 9 municipalities were considered invalid,' he said.
Mazahir Panahov said the number of the seats of some municipality members reduced by 1, 2 or more because of various reasons.
