According to the news service for the ministry, the work of lower enterprises was discussed at the collegial session chaired by Minister Yaver Jamalov.
Participants discussed production of unions and enterprises of the ministry, financial and economic outcomes of the first half of the year and future tasks.
It was noted that the session that the overall volume of production grew twice over the same period of 2010.
Execution of the events of the program of orders of state defense continued in the first half of the year. Under the contracts concluded with the law enforcement structures of the country, production has grown 11.2-fold over the same period of 2010. The assortment of production has grown 3.7-fold, while civil production by 14%. 4 primary, 2 state and 10 specialized trials were conducted in the first half of 2011.
The reports of heads of the unions and enterprises were heard and instructions were given at the session on execution of the program of the State Defense Order and other predicted indicators.
Minister Yaver Jamalov highly appreciated the work of the unions and enterprises of the ministry. He said these achievements promote the worthily fulfillment of tasks to ensure Azerbaijani armed forces with modern arms and ammunition.
