The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and Ministry of Agriculture of Azerbaijan hold national consultations on food safety, nutrition and development of rural areas to define the priorities for post-2015 development frame.
To this end, an event involving Azerbaijani governmental dignitaries, donors, international development partners, experts and reps of NGOs, was today held here.
Deputy agriculture minister of Azerbaijan Bahram Aliyev said the Azerbaijani government is committed to the implementing obligations for Millennium Development Goals it took, and evidence to that is the high economic growth the country achieved in the last five years.
