At the clinical base of the Central Customs Hospital, a theoretical and practical training process is being carried out for students, residents, and trainees of various educational levels. Currently, a group of final-year foreign students from the English-language program of the Azerbaijan Medical University is continuing their clinical training at the Central Customs Hospital.

Under the leadership of the Deputy Head of the Medical Service of the State Customs Committee, PhD in Medicine, Associate Professor Ismayil Afandiyev, VI-year foreign students of AMU are participating in theoretical and practical sessions in the subject “Internal Diseases.”

During the training period, students have the opportunity to observe patients receiving treatment for various diseases at the clinical base of the Central Customs Hospital, analyze clinical cases, discuss diagnostic and treatment approaches, and become closely familiar with modern medical technologies and unique treatment methods applied in the hospital.

The modern educational-clinical environment created at the Central Customs Hospital significantly contributes to strengthening students’ theoretical knowledge through real clinical practice, developing their clinical thinking skills, and shaping them into professional physicians.

The organization of the training process at the hospital’s clinical base serves to improve the quality of medical education in the country, strengthen students’ practical training, and promote the sharing of modern knowledge and skills in the healthcare sector.
