"We are doing what is necessary for our right and position," said Turkey's National Defense Minister Hulusi Akar while commenting on attacks on Turkey by PKK/YPG terror organization in the north of Syria over the recent times, SİA reports citing CNN Turk.
Minister noted that serious changes occur in the world and region, especially regarding defense and security issues.
Defense Minister stressed that they closely follow processes, ongoing in the north of Iraq and Syria, the Eastern Mediterranean, and Cyprus.
Touching upon agreements, reached with the US and Russia in the north of Syria, H. Akar noted that Turkey executes its commitments seriously.
