Delegation of the Medical Service Department of the State Customs Committee visited the Victory Monument and Victory Museum
In connection with Remembrance Day observed on September 27, a delegation of the Medical Service Department of the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan visited the Victory Monument and the Victory Museum.
Head of the Medical Service Department of the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ceyhun Mammadov, Deputy Heads Ismayil Efendiyev and Shahlar Mirgasim, Chief Physician of the Central Customs Hospital Bakhtiyar Musayev, and employees of the Department first visited the Victory Monument, laid fresh flowers at the monument, and paid tribute to the memory of the heroic sons of the Motherland who sacrificed their lives for the independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The delegation then visited the Victory Museum, where they viewed exhibits, photographs, and other materials reflecting the historic Victory achieved by the Azerbaijani people in the Patriotic War. As a result of the high professionalism, courage, and heroism demonstrated by the Azerbaijani Army during the 44-day Patriotic War, the territorial integrity of our country was restored. This historic Victory became not only a symbol of national pride and unity of the Azerbaijani people, but also an event of great historical significance for future generations.
As part of the visit, the delegation watched the film “Shusha, You Are Free” in the cinema hall of the Victory Museum. The film is dedicated to the historic events of the Patriotic War and the liberation of Shusha.
The Azerbaijani people will always commemorate our martyrs with deep respect and reverence.
