France’s President Emmanuel Macron discussed supplies of interceptors to Ukraine with US President Trump during a meeting in New York.
"We had a lengthy discussion Ukraine and Russia, the need to help our Ukrainian friends more quickly and more strongly in terms of interceptors, because that is the key issue from a defensive point of view," Reuters quoted Macron as saying after the meeting with his American counterpart.
The leaders of the two countries held a "very good" and "very constructive" discussion, Macron told reporters.
