Azerbaijan and Türkiye have engaged in discussions regarding the development of cooperation in the defense industry, Azerbaijan’s Defense Ministry told SİA.
During the IDEX-2025 International Defense Exhibition held in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, on February 17, Azerbaijan's Minister of Defense Industry Vugar Mustafayev met with the Chairman of Türkiye's Defense Industry Committee, Haluk Gorgun, and Deputy Minister of National Defense, Musa Heybet.
The sides highlighted the successful cooperation between the two countries in the military-technical field, noting that these relations continue to progress positively.
They also explored the prospects of joint projects, emphasizing the importance of further developing existing cooperation in the defense industry, and exchanged views on other matters of mutual interest.
