In 1992-2023, Armenians caused material damage of more than 20.9 billion manats ($12.294 billion) to Azerbaijan through illegal economic activities, as was reflected in the indictment regarding the criminal case against persons of Armenian origin accused of committing war crimes, SİA informs.
The indictment stated that illegal profits obtained through the unlawful exploitation of resources belonging to the Republic of Azerbaijan, including revenues from agriculture, mineral raw material extraction, energy (hydropower) production, retail trade, public catering turnover, industrial products and other areas of activity, as well as illegal activities of Frank Müller Group company, illegal caviar production activities and illegal financial operations conducted by Artsakhbank Closed Joint Stock Company, totaling more than 20.9 billion manats in material damage, were spent on financing terrorism.
