Next batch of humanitarian aid from Azerbaijan to Ukraine to be dispatched

Tomorrow, the next batch of humanitarian aid from Azerbaijan to Ukraine will be dispatched, APA reports.

The humanitarian aid will mainly consist of electrical equipment.

Note that yesterday, by the relevant Order of President Ilham Aliyev, funds amounting to the manat equivalent of 1 million US dollars were allocated from the Reserve Fund of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, envisaged in the 2025 state budget, to the Ministry of Energy of Azerbaijan for the purchase and delivery of electrical equipment produced in Azerbaijan to provide humanitarian aid to Ukraine.

Recall that the Republic of Azerbaijan, based on the principles of humanism, provides humanitarian aid to many countries worldwide on a bilateral and multilateral basis. Humanitarian aid from Azerbaijan to Ukraine has continued, and the total amount of humanitarian assistance, as well as aid for restoration and reconstruction purposes, has reached 70 million manats (more than approximately 40 million US dollars).

Additionally, within the framework of humanitarian aid activities, Ukrainian children who have suffered from the war and lost family members have been brought to Azerbaijan for medical and social-psychological rehabilitation.
