Gunman fires shots at U.S. Embassy in Beirut, Lebanese army says

A gunman fired shots at the U.S. Embassy in Beirut on Wednesday, the Lebanese army said, SİA reports citing Reuters.

The army said it fired back and injured the attacker who was then taken to hospital for treatment.

The paths leading to the American embassy are reported to be blocked. No further details have been released so far.
