Over 3,600 Students Score Between 500 and 600 Points in University Entrance Exams

In the recent university entrance exams, 2,101 students in the RK subgroup and 1,528 students in the RI subgroup of the first specialty group scored between 500 and 600 points, the State Examination Center told SIA.

Additionally, the number of students scoring 600 or more points in the first specialty group was 551 in the RK subgroup and 792 in the RI subgroup.

A total of 11,917 applicants in the RK subgroup, who scored at least 200 overall and 100 in the second stage of the exam, and 18,301 applicants in the RI subgroup, who scored at least 150 overall and 50 in the second stage, have qualified for the competition.

For the 2024/2025 academic year, the plan includes 13,315 spots in the Azerbaijani section and 785 spots in the Russian section for the first specialty group. The combined student admission plan for both sections is set at 5,890 spots, totaling 19,990 places for the first specialty group. Out of these, 14,407 places are designated for state-funded positions.

Regarding the distribution of planned spots within the first specialty group, the RK subgroup has a total of 13,015 spots (including 9,050 in the Azerbaijani section, 475 in the Russian section, and 3,490 for the combined competition). Of these, 9,007 spots are state-funded. The RI subgroup has a total of 6,975 spots (including 4,265 in the Azerbaijani section, 310 in the Russian section, and 2,400 for the combined competition), with 5,400 spots state-funded.
