This year, the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) will take measures to diversify financial instruments, CBA Chairman Taleh Kazimov said at a high-level presentation event of the World Bank's World Development SİA (WDR) 2024 in Baku, Report informs.
Additionally, according to Kazimov, work will be carried out throughout the year to increase the number of sustainable financial instruments and strengthen the monetary policy mechanism.
"In the long term, the implementation of these measures is of great importance for creating an innovative entrepreneurship ecosystem. The main role of the CBA is to ensure macroeconomic stability and financial sustainability, and work in this direction will continue," the chairman added.
