Azerbaijani deputy foreign minister Khalaf Khalafov has met an Indonesian delegation led by chairman of Azerbaijan-Indonesia Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group Ferrari Roemawi.
SIA citing State Agency, that they hailed relations between Azerbaijan and Indonesia, and stressed the role of interparliamentary cooperation in strengthening the bilateral bonds.
Khalafov praised Indonesia`s support of Azerbaijan`s position on the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. He underlined the importance of the cooperation between the two countries in the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.
Khalafov also stressed good opportunities for enhancing ties between Azerbaijan and Indonesia in the fields of agriculture, culture, science and education.
Roemawi highlighted the activities of the friendship group at Azerbaijan`s parliament. He also underlined opportunities for further expansion of Azerbaijan-Indonesia relations.
