Increasing of USD in Azerbaijan caused increasing of national currency course, Azerbaijan’s Central Bank chairman Elman Rustamov told journalist, SIA reports.
He said the process is under the control of the Central Bank. "It can create bars for non-oil export, but it is to keep inflation under the control. Increased currency will bring to fall of prices in significant operations", said Rustamov.
Central Bank chairman "I think the banks know what problems they can face during the crises and therefore they created important resources and the process should be developed".
"Currently situation in the banking sector is stable, the development is observed in this sector, which according to our forecasts, this year will be even more accelerated. Banks are already familiar with the problems of the crisis period, so they created a significant amount of reserves, but at present this process must continue, and it requires further development, "Rustamov said. The bank chairman denied reports about removal of old building.
The new building will be provided with modern automated treasury, as well as it will have gold treasure for saving gold produced in the country.
