The Ministry of Taxes of Azerbaijan is actively preparing for the beginning of the electronic tax audit of taxpayers.
Today in Baku Azerbaijan’s Taxes Minister Fazil Mammadov informs that soon it is expected to finish development of E-Audit Project implementation of which will turn Azerbaijan into a leader in this field not only in the region, but also among the countries of Eastern Europe.
"The use of e-audit enables to save time and eliminate direct relations between taxpayers and public officers that is one of the priority issues for the Ministry. E-audit is also important within anti-corruption measures and provision of Ministry’s activity transparency," Mammadov said.
