The official announcement from Dior confirming R-Patz as the new face of Dior Homme fragrance - finally.
Proving there's no smoke without fire in fragrance, Parfums Christian Dior have confirmed rumours that Robert Pattinson is to be the new face of Dior Homme fragrance, in what is thought to be a burning hot campaign.
"Today we are excited to announce that he will join the privileged circle of Dior faces. Photographed by American artist Nan Goldin and filmed by French director Romain Gavras, this new Dior Homme communication campaign is currently broadcast exclusively in Europe (except UK) and Asia (except China and Japan)," say Dior.
If the rumours so far are to be believed, and from today's news we think they can, we can expect some pretty steamy campaigns too.
Back in March celebrity reporter Gordon Smart eluded to a sexually explicit advert , "pushing the boundaries of what you can get away with in advertising." For a cool £8 million R-Patz had seemingly come out of the twilight and into the red light with an advert which is reported to have him taking "part in a foursome in various states of undress, although it's not clear whether those scenes will make the final cut," added Smart.
We can only hope.
