The national air carrier of Azerbaijan, Azerbaijan Airlines JSC, has suspended flights from Baku to Ben Gurion Airport (Tel Aviv) and in the opposite direction due to recent events and security issues in Israel, AZAL told SİA.
Passengers with Tel-Aviv air tickets can get a full refund or change their tickets to another flight without a fine.
Additional information regarding the resumption of flights on the Baku-Tel-Aviv-Baku route will be announced depending on the situation. The airline will immediately notify passengers of any changes.
Passengers can apply to AZAL's Call Center for updates at callcenter@azal.az.
"The safety of flights and passengers is the number one priority for AZAL," the information reads.
