Six new deposits have been discovered in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan over the past two years, said Fuad Najafli, the authorized representative of the President of Azerbaijan in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, at the International Geology-Mining Forum held in Nakhchivan city, Report informs.
According to Fuad Najafli, over the past two years, field and office work has been carried out in the autonomous republic on the search, inspection and evaluation of non-metallic and construction material deposits, monitoring of groundwater, search and re-evaluation of ferrous, non-ferrous and precious metals, and inspection and re-evaluation work has been carried out at 55 deposits.
The authorized representative noted that based on field materials, 298 mineral water springs have been inspected: "During this period, 14 mineral springs have been proposed for investment. Work in this direction continues."
