The resettled families had been temporarily accommodated in various parts of the country, primarily in dormitories, sanatoriums, and administrative buildings.

At this stage, 60 families comprising 235 people have been relocated to the village of Khidirli, and 50 families comprising 199 people to the city of Jabrayil. The returning residents expressed their gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva for the comprehensive state support they have received.

They also extended their thanks to the valiant Azerbaijani Army, our heroic soldiers and officers who liberated the lands, and prayed for mercy upon the martyrs who sacrificed their lives in this cause.

It should be noted that currently, alongside the former internally displaced persons who have been relocated, more than 50,000 people live in Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur. These include individuals working on ongoing projects in the region, employees of various state institutions fulfilling their duties in local branches, and personnel employed in newly reactivated healthcare, education, culture, tourism, industry, and energy facilities.
