Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, have been invited to participate in the 13th session of the United Nations World Urban Forum (WUF13), scheduled to be held in Baku in 2026.
Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia and Permanent Representative to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Shahin Abdullayev, delivered the official letters of invitation from President Ilham Aliyev to Waleed bin Abdulkarim El-Khereiji, Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia.
During the meeting, the sides discussed the development and strengthening of bilateral relations across various fields, as well as other issues of mutual interest.
