Heydar Aliyev International Airport provided service to more than 625,000 passengers in May of this year, the press service of Airport told SİA.
According to the information, this indicator is 36% more than the corresponding period of last year.
In May, 34 airlines made 4905 flights, including 14 low-cost airlines. Foreign airlines accounted for 55% of the passenger turnover on international routes, and the rest accounted for the national air carrier. In general, foreign airlines carried more than 314,000 passengers, and Azerbaijan Airlines carried 252,000 passengers. During this period, services were provided to about 60,000 passengers in the direction of Nakhchivan.
