AZAL increases number of Baku-Nakhchivan flights due to Eid al-Adha

Azerbaijan’s national airline, AZAL has scheduled additional flights on the Baku-Nakhchivan-Baku route, taking into account the increased passenger demand related to Eid al-Adha, SİA informs, citing AZAL.

A total of 121 flights will be operated on this route between June 7 and June 15. The day with the most flights is June 9, with 20 flights are scheduled. Peak passenger flow is expected on this date, as citizens' return to Baku after the holiday falls on that day.

The number of flights on other dates is as follows: 15 flights on June 7, 14 flights on June 8, 13 flights on June 10, 14 flights on June 11, 12 flights each on June 12 and 13, 10 flights on June 14, and 11 flights on June 15.

This figure is significantly higher compared to the average of 8-9 flights normally operated to Nakhchivan on regular days.

Additional flights have been organized to allow passengers to visit their relatives during Eid al-Adha. AZAL is implementing all necessary measures for this purpose.
