Swedish-Azerbaijani Association (SAF), acting in Sweden, has called on Parliament of the country (Riksdag) to recognize the Khojaly genocide, committed by Armenians at the end of the previous century, State Committee on Affairs with Diaspora told SİA.
It is noted in the statement addressed to the Swedish Riksdag with a signature of SAF's Chair Sevda Dadashova that Armenian armed units attacked Khojaly genocide with militaries of the 366th Motorized rifle on the night from February 25 to 26, 1992, and committed a terrible massacre against civilian Azerbaijanis.
It has been brought to attention that 613 civilians (including women, children, and elder people) were killed, 487 were injured, 1275 people were taken hostages, 150 got missed as a result of the Khojaly genocide.
