Vice President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, founder and head of the IDEA Public Association, Leyla Aliyeva, and head of Baku Media Center, Arzu Aliyeva, took part in the groundbreaking ceremony for the reconstruction of the Wildlife Rehabilitation Center located within Altiaghaj National Park during their visit to Khizi district.
The center will provide the necessary conditions for returning wild animals in need of rehabilitation, especially bears, to their natural habitat.
The facility will conduct veterinary check-ups, implement physical rehabilitation programs, behavioral recovery stages, and specialized nutrition regimes. These processes will ensure the successful reintegration of the animals into the wild.
