Adalat Hasanov: Azerbaijani and Russian forensic reports on brothers' bodies do not match

“The forensic report conducted in Azerbaijan does not match the one presented by the Russian side,” said Adalat Hasanov, Director General of the Association of Forensic Medicine and Pathological Anatomy of the Ministry of Health, while announcing the results of the new forensic examination of the bodies of the brothers killed in Yekaterinburg, APA reports.

“There are hemorrhages on the conjunctiva of both eyes, hemorrhages on the upper and lower eyelids of the right eye, bruises on the chest, asymmetry of the chest upon palpation, bruised abrasions on the right lateral abdomen and hip, and red and bluish bruises in the scrotum. These are injuries that caused death. The internal examination revealed changes consistent with the initial findings. Hemorrhages in the brain and head, compression of the chest, multiple displaced rib fractures, hemorrhages in the soft tissues of the posterior abdominal wall and paranephric areas, widespread hemorrhages in soft tissues, and bruises in the scrotum caused death. The cause of death was severe post-traumatic shock due to the numerous injuries noted. These are the results of both external and internal examinations of the two individuals,” added A. Hasanov.

He stated that there is a displaced fracture of the nasal bones: “The chest is deformed, there is a hematoma measuring 14x12 cm in the left orbital area, the mucous membranes of the upper and lower lips are bruised, abrasions on the left and right forehead and eyebrow areas, bruises on the back surface of the chest and the backs of both hands. There is a transverse abrasion on the left lumbar area, and a striped abrasion measuring 17x2.5 cm on the inner surface of the left thigh. The body underwent an internal examination. Extensive hemorrhages were found on the inner surface of the scalp.”
