Nearly 100,000 people evacuated due to floods in Kazakhstan

Approximately 100,000 people have been evacuated since the floods started in Kazakhstan, SİA informs, referring to Kazakhstan's Ministry for Emergency Situations.

It was noted that 96,500 people, including 31,600 children, have been evacuated so far.

As a result of the natural disaster, 4,000 residential buildings and 336 courtyards were flooded in five provinces of Kazakhstan.

A state of emergency has been imposed in 10 districts of the country.
