ANAS Institute of Manuscripts has obtained manuscript of "Gulshani-maarif" memoir by Najafgulu bey Sheyda - Azerbaijan poet living during second half of XIX century-beginning of XX century.
The poet criticizes Soviet structure as a regime trampling down human rights, destroying those who say the truth, and oppressing the people.
N. Sheyda’s "Gulshani-maarif" memoir compiles valuable information about 24 poets and their works that lived in Karabakh, Baku and Shamakhi in the beginning of XIX– XX centuries.
It should be noted that so far, the Institute of Manuscripts has kept collection of poems and these plays have been published by Dr. Philology Pasha Karimov with a modern design and foreword.
