Armenian representative will be ensured security - Executive supervisor of the Eurovision Song Contest
The executive supervisor of the Eurovision Song
Contest, Jon Ola Sand, has said he is sure that Armenia will compete in
the competition in Baku.
He told a press conference that the security of the Armenian delegation, like that of other delegations, would be ensured during the contest.
"I am sure that Armenia will participate in the contest. We regularly keep in touch with them. Armenia is preparing for the competition," the Eurovision organizer said.
He said that Azerbaijan's Eurovision entries had always been high quality.
"Azerbaijan's victory after just four years in the competition did not come as a shock for us. Azerbaijan could win this year, too."
