Scientists have published a new study that raises concerns about geographical security of some countries, including Turkiye.
The study of the Max Planck Institute, one of the world's leading research institutions, published in the scientific journal "Reviews of Geophysics", revealed at once that the danger is approaching. According to the study, the Eastern Mediterranean and the Middle East will be hit by unprecedented extreme weather events in the near future. Characterizing the region as the center of climate change, it is emphasized that the rate of temperature increase in the region is almost twice as high as the global average.
