Ukrainians living in Germany have asked Turkey for help in evacuating civilians from their countries. SIA refers to Turkish websites.
More than 200 Ukrainians gathered in front of the Turkish embassy in Berlin, chanting "Turkey Save Mariupol" and asking President Recep Tayyip Erdogan for help for soldiers and civilians in the long-besieged Russian city.
One of the protesters, Eva Yakubovska, said the best option was to evacuate soldiers and civilians trapped by sea in the Turkish city of Mariupol. Turkey is a strong country and can achieve evacuation by providing security.
