"We are trying to keep the airport in Kabul safe and open and to serve the whole of Afghanistan. There have been no attacks, aggressions, or intrusions against the airport so far. We follow the events sensitively and carefully, taking into account that the situation may change at any time. We have been standing by our Afghan brothers since 2002. We have common cultural and historical values with Afghanistan. The world is aware of Turkey's position on aid to Afghanistan and appreciates it. We continue our activities," he said.
